In certain areas of the Brightline BES program, CMP is evaluating the possibility of Non Transmission Alternatives or NTAs to provide viable solutions to these grid upgrades. NTAs must meet important guidelines for reliability and safety and help serve the overall electric system. NTAs include solar installations, battery storage facilities, generators and load reduction.
